Ellie and Kourosh’s romantic elopement at Las Ventanas Al Paraiso was a far cry from the larger destination weddings we shoot week in week out, and we loved every minute of it! Choosing to keep your nuptials private is a personal choice, and one that allows all involved to focus on you, your fiancé and your moment, without distractions and preoccupations. We think Ellie and Kourosh hit a home run!
Las Ventanas al Paraiso is located on the main highway linking the historic San Jose del Cabo with the vibrant, action-packed town of Cabo San Lucas, and it comes with all of the guarantees that the Rosewood chain is famous for. The hotel’s grounds are made for frame after frame of photography gold, featuring beautiful architecture interspersed with traditional landscapes native to the Los Cabos region.
Our bride was far from camera shy, every bit the photographer’s dream, even as she took a seat to relax a moment in her sparkling, sky-high stilettos. Her dress was the perfect compromise between the traditional and the trendy, featuring a deep V neckline and layered, Princess cut skirt with empire waistline. Ellie chose a half up, half down do with sculptured waves and a brilliant diamond headpiece to complete her look, and Kouroush, who looked equally as elegant in black tie attire, certainly approved.
We spent our afternoon working Las Ventanas’ abundance of internal locations, before taking a long walk on the beach. Los Cabos chose to paint its sky with a soft, pastel tapestry of pinks, lilacs, and purples, as our bride and groom enjoyed an intimate, sit down dinner for two. The amazing staff at Las Ventanas decked out their table in modern, Mexican style decoration, and greeted our couple with a romantic display of candlelight and red rose petals. Truly a day to remember for our newlyweds.
Congratulations Ellie and Kourosh, and thank you for allowing us to capture your moment on film. We wish you a lifetime of happiness and many future trips to Los Cabos!
