Jessica and Arturo’s flirty and floral wedding celebration found its home at Grand Solmar Land’s End Resort in Los Cabos, just a stone’s throw to the Pacific Ocean and the iconic Cabo San Lucas Arch. We were lucky enough to shoot both photo and video for the gorgeous couple, whose love and commitment to one other was evident from the first click right through to their final farewell.
We hesitate to describe the weddings we capture as “romantic”, as let’s face it, what wedding isn’t? But Jessica and Arturo, along with Grand Solmar’s wedding coordinator Erika Quiroz, wove romance and tradition into the fabric of their celebration, from their vows and attire, through to the cream, peach and gold color palette, lush florals and perfectly placed signage. We began our morning in Jessica’s luxurious bridal suite, as she gifted her girls delicate silk robes and comfy flip flops to ensure they started their day the right way! The blushing bride opted for a wavy down do to complement her traditional Catholic veil and ivory, mermaid style gown, a concoction of lace, lace and more lace that was just the right combination of body-hugging structure and flowing majesty. Her bridesmaids chose a shade of peachy apricot and were there every step of the way to ensure Jessica had just what she needed pre-ceremony (including a glass or two of white to calm the nerves!). Blossom Art, proving once again just why they are the best in the business, delivered beautiful bouquets in shades of creamy white, blush and peach, with a touch of native cactus paying homage to the unbeatable Los Cabos landscape. On the other side of Grand Solmar, Arturo and his boys were relaxed and ready to go, going retro with funky apricot bow ties to boot!
The long-awaited I do’s took place below Grand Solmar’s oceanside palapa, with the team at Del Cabo Event Design in charge of the decor and details. Rev. Jorge Arechiga conducted a non-denominational ceremony, including the unifying Mexican traditions of the lasso and arras. The weather Gods had provided us with an immaculate November day, and the evening’s burnt orange and bright gold sunset was nothing short of spectacular; The perfect backdrop for those once in a lifetime couple’s portraits post-ceremony. We took Jessica and Arturo through Grand Solmar’s grounds and down to the shore, where we captured our favorite image of the day, our couple holding hands as the sun sets through Jessica’s fairytale veil.
The rest of this spectacular destination wedding just kept on giving! Guests were treated to an upbeat and lively performance by Mariachi Gavilancillo de Los Cabos, before DJ Alex Alanis pumped up the volume, spinning the tunes that kept Arturo, Jessica, their family and friends between the dance floor and the bar all evening.
All in all, an amazing couple + a dream team of talented vendors and a jaw-dropping location = an unforgettable wedding! Are you inspired by Jessica and Arturo’s wedding album? Don’t hesitate to contact us!
