Most of what we publish on our blog are loved up, super romantic “day of photos”, from the details and the preparations to the I dos, the toasts and the long-awaited dance floor antics; We are destination wedding photographers after all. That being said, as with all forms of art, diversification is the key to a successful portfolio, and we love shooting everything from pregnancy announcements to engagement shoots. Family sessions are amongst our favorites. The unique bond between loved ones, their comfort within each other’s presence and those quirky, inside jokes are what makes shooting a family photography magic, and we can’t get enough of it.
I was recently contacted by the very lovely Leigh Ramirez, who was Cabo bound on a special family trip along with her extended family. Leigh wanted to take advantage of the fact that her nearest and dearest were all in one place at the one time, and capture that on film. Our shoot took place at the Grand Fiesta Americana, an expansive, all-inclusive resort located just outside of downtown Cabo San Lucas. We took all 3 generations of this gorgeous family to the beach and had them, well, be themselves! I’m sure you will love what resulted from our time in the sun.
