Christina & Clay Hightlights from Daniel Jireh on Vimeo.
Choosing the jaw-dropping Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach for their Cabo San Lucas destination wedding celebration was the first in a series of home runs hit by Christina and Clay during the process of their planning. The stunning views across the Pacific Ocean and the properties immaculate grounds made this April wedding in Los Cabos a site for sore eyes. The talented Fernanda Badillo took care of the finer details, ensuring both guests and couple were able to enjoy every minute of their long-awaited nuptials.
Christina looked ethereal in her white lace gown (home run number 2!), which was both fitted and flowing, the perfect contrast to the intense greens of Pueblo Bonito’s Lover’s Meadow in which they exchanged their moving vows. Her relaxed, bohemian inspired hairstyle, natural makeup and towering nude stilettos finished off the look, and Clay was clearly overwhelmed when he laid eyes on the love of his life. Christina chose Emporio Arte Floral to create her gorgeous florals, with vibrant greens, pinks, yellows and reds providing a pop of color against an otherwise neutral palette. The very talented Trio Los Mosquitos provided the soundtrack as, watched over by family and friends, and supported by one of the largest and best dressed bridal parties we have seen in a long while, Christina and Clay made sure to pay tribute to their beautiful son Landon, as well as their love for one another.
Now, with a bridal party as big as this, controlling the emotion charged, post-ceremony photo session can be a daunting task for even the most talented of photographers. In this case, it was clear we weren’t going to have much of a problem. Christina’s best girls and Clay’s boys were not only very photogenic but clearly willing to do all they could to ensure success! We were able to capture both the all-important formal portraits, as well as shot after shot of the bridal party doing what they do best, turning up the volume and proving we were in for one rowdy evening.
With the formalities taken care of and the rest of the evening before them, the couple surprised their guests with thoughtful touches throughout. A fresh fruit stand to beat off the heat was enthusiastically received, and the constant flow of fruity cocktails and ice cold cerveza played their part in getting the party started. After dining at the gorgeous tables capes designed and created by The Main Event Cabo, guests danced and danced and danced, many with moves to rival Twitch! Our bride kept the boho vibes rolling, donning a vibrant floral crown before joining the festivities and DJ Alex Alanis made sure no one left the dance floor until last call!
