I’m a wedding photographer first and foremost, but what many don’t realize is that wedding photography encompasses all things love and lovers, engagement shoots, maternity sessions and much much more! Nora and Ardy’s destination anniversary session took place this past July at the newly revamped and exquisitely luxurious Viceroy Los Cabos, a 5 star, contemporary property nestled on the shores of the Sea of Cortez in San Jose del Cabo.
Nora and Ardy call the United States home, but both have lots of love for Cabo’s year-round sunshine. When they decided to celebrate their first anniversary in paradise, Nora reached out to us and the click was instant. These two are laid back, friendly and far from camera shy, which made our job all that much easier as we began our 2-hour session within Viceroy’s impressive grounds. Nora looked the epitome of relaxed glamour in a short, white lace summer dress with natural hair and makeup. We wanted this shoot to reflect Nora and Ardy’s love for one another, along with their individual personalities, and the hotel’s architecture allowed us to shoot from up high, down low and with a wide angled lens, resulting in an album that is both artistic and personal. They were even keen to jump on those floating bikes and have some fun!
Now a photo shoot isn’t a photo shoot without a wardrobe change, and Nora’s second, bohemian style crop top and high waisted short ensemble was made for Cabo. We took things down to the beach to wrap up our session, and the near perfect weather gave us more sunshine and rolling waves to frame our couple. What’s a shoot in Cabo without an ocean background, right?
