Valentine’s Day is an annual celebration full of love, laughter and well, chocolate, for loved up couples all over the world, and this pair now have all the more reason to celebrate! Jamie and Daryl’s Los Cabos elopement at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica this past February made Valentine’s their anniversary and proved that sometimes less really is more. By taking away the bells and whistles and focusing their attention on one another, Jamie and Daryl officially joined forces in a sweet, memorable and picture perfect celebration of love.
Pueblo Bonito Pacifica is situated on the picturesque shores of the Pacific Ocean, just a short drive from downtown Cabo San Lucas. The resort is at the forefront of the all-inclusive luxury market, and its quiet serenity made it Jamie’s top pick. Now, while she didn’t have a bridal party, Jamie’s ample suite with designer interiors provided the perfect setting in which to get herself wedding ready. While we love shooting a bride with her girls, getting Jamie alone allowed her to relax and give us her undivided attention, which meant frame after frame of gorgeous beauty shots, no filter needed! She chose natural makeup, long relaxed curls and a simple, slip style dress with a deep V neckline to create her beach bride vibe. Her stunning bouquet of pastel colored peonies, desert succulents and greenery featured one oversized, soft pink protea and was created by the floral artists at The Main Event Cabo.
Jamie and Daryl, lovers of the simple and practical, chose to take care of the tedious legal paperwork at home and opted for a non-denominational ceremony here in Cabo. A symbolic ceremony is personalized, designed to reflect who you are as a couple, and can be performed in English without the necessity of marriage license applications, translations, and bloodwork. Every word of Jamie and Daryl’s ceremony was drafted to reflect who they are as a couple, a very honest moment between two people in love.
With the I do’s done and their rings in place, we headed up the beach, capturing the newlyweds as they sipped a glass of celebratory champagne. It’s obvious that, for Jamie and Daryl, being around one another is easy, enjoyable and just right. Their elation was infectious, culminating in a cover-worthy shot beneath Pacifica’s imposing architectural window come sculpture with views to the passionate Pacific Ocean and Cabo’s famous blue skies.
Thank you, Jamie and Daryl, for letting us step in on your private moment. We hope your Valentine’s day will be every bit as special in the years to come.
